The Ralph M. Brown Act guarantees the public's right to attend and participate in meetings of local legislative bodies. In doing so, it outlines the way in which special districts must behave, including defining when and how meeting agendas are posted. For agencies with a website, agendas must be posted at least 72 hours in advance of each meeting on the website. Utilize your Streamline Meeting Dashboard agenda notifications to make sure you don't miss a deadline! Read the full text of The Brown Act for details.
